The obvious culmination of my black-on-black experimentation was this, a whole picture featuring the concept. The inspiration: the cover story of this Newsweek magazine that was the source for the picture- including references to "Black September". Even though you can see a good deal of it here, up close and personal the two black inks are totally different from each other, very distinct.
